Our company, IMP PUMPS, is the Slovenian producer of pumps and pump systems with its head office at Ig near Ljubljana.
We plan, develop, produce, distribute and maintain pumps and pump systems. We wish to make the Company a bidder of thorough solutions with an additional programme of our strategic partners' products and services. By means of specialized skills, we thoroughly solve problems referring to the transport of current media, whereby we provide comfort in the domestic environment and optimal working conditions in industry.
The company, IMP ČRPALKE was established in 1947 and existed as a part of the IMP Group until the late 80-ies. In 1991 it witnessed big political and economic changes, which caused a reduction of its operations. The Company managed to survive the turbulent nineties and became independent.
IMP ČRPALKE was privatised in 1997, and was purchased by the biggest private investment fund in Slovenia at the end of 1998. The Company successfully underwent the ownership transformation in 1999.
In 2000 the Company restructured and commenced its operations through IMP PUMPS d.o.o., and in 2001 it began to operate with profit. The year 2002 was marked by a successful breakthrough to new markets of the United Kingdom , Sweden , Poland , Italy , etc.
The share of 2000 exports equalled about 30% of the entire sales, of which 80% were to the German market. With an intensive marketing in 2003, the share of exports increased to 80% of the entire sales to various countries of the demanding European market.
In IMP PUMPS, we are aware that we have become a part of the global happenings and we are searching solutions for our partners, which would enable the Company's further intensive and stable growth.
